Chris Jones joined Stouffer & Associates in 2002 following graduation from Baylor University. Chris is a senior appraiser and currently oversees training and review of an appraiser trainee within the firm. Chris obtained his State Certification in September of 2005 and the MAI designation in December of 2008. Chris concentrates primarily on investment/income producing properties including net leased, retail, office, and special purpose properties, as well as being competent with industrial and vacant land.  In 2019, Chris was named Vice President of Commercial Appraisal for Stouffer & Associates.

Chris performs 80 to 100 appraisals per year for various clients, including: banks, mortgage lenders, credit unions, municipalities, individuals, partnerships, corporations, real estate developers, and attorneys. These appraisals are utilized for variety of uses, including: loan underwriting, foreclosures, condemnation cases, estate valuations, feasibility analysis, tax protests, and marketing direction.

Chris has also testified as an Expert Witness and/or provided consultation in multiple cases as it relates to foreclosure and pre-foreclosure proceedings pertaining to various commercial properties in the San Antonio market.

In addition to his appraisal work, Chris has served as the Salesperson/Broker regarding multiple transactions and/or speculative purchases as the agent of the buyer regarding residential and commercial properties.

In his spare time, Chris stays busy with his wife and three children with sporting events, outdoor activities, and church involvement. He also enjoys golfing.
