He has also performed numerous appraisals for litigation purposes, served as an expert witness, and completed several appraisals for estate planning purposes. However, his specialty has been in analyzing proposed mixed use and single family residential developments with experience involving various municipal and taxing reimbursement structures as well as properties currently within the entitlement process.
Porter also has significant experience conducting appraisals within smaller markets in the San Antonio and Austin MSA’s taking the time to confirm sales from the area and analyze the unique characteristics affecting value within each specific market.
